Diabetes
Diabetes is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by high blood sugar levels due to insufficient insulin production or ineffective insulin use. It can lead to serious complications affecting the heart, kidneys, eyes, and nerves if left uncontrolled. We manage all types of diabetes—Type 1, Type 2, and gestational—with a comprehensive approach including medication, insulin therapy, diet counseling, and lifestyle modifications. Our team offers continuous monitoring and patient education for effective blood sugar control. Early diagnosis and regular follow-up help prevent long-term damage.Thyroid Disorders
Thyroid disorders occur when the thyroid gland produces either too much (hyperthyroidism) or too little (hypothyroidism) hormone, affecting metabolism, energy levels, and overall health. Symptoms can include fatigue, weight changes, hair thinning, palpitations, or mood swings. We offer accurate diagnosis through hormonal assays and imaging tests. Treatment depends on the type and severity and may include medication, radioactive iodine therapy, or surgery. With expert care and regular monitoring, thyroid balance can be effectively restored for long-term well-being.Cushing’s Disease
Cushing’s disease is caused by prolonged exposure to high cortisol levels, often due to a pituitary tumor that triggers excess hormone production. Symptoms include weight gain (especially around the face and abdomen), high blood pressure, muscle weakness, and skin changes. Diagnosis involves hormone testing, imaging, and pituitary evaluation. Treatment typically includes surgery, medication, or radiation therapy. Our team ensures accurate diagnosis and comprehensive care to prevent complications. Early intervention improves recovery and quality of life.Obesity
Obesity is a chronic health condition involving excessive body fat that increases the risk of diabetes, heart disease, sleep apnea, and hormonal imbalances. It often results from a combination of lifestyle, genetic, and hormonal factors. Our team offers medically supervised weight management programs that include nutrition counseling, exercise plans, and medication when necessary. We aim to promote sustainable weight loss, improve metabolic health, and enhance overall quality of life.Radiation therapy can be given inside or outside of your body. The most common kind is external beam radiation therapy. This treatment uses a large machine called a linear accelerator. High-energy beams are aimed from the machine to a precise point on your body. Modern methods of radiation are precise. They aim beams directly at the cancer while protecting healthy tissues from high doses of radiation. But other types of radiation therapy exist, including proton radiation.
Radiation treatment that goes inside the body is called brachytherapy (brak-e-THER-uh-pee). Brachytherapy also is a common cancer treatment. During this therapy, a provider places a small solid implant in or near the cancer.
How radiation therapy is used in people with cancer
Radiation therapy is used to treat just about every type of cancer. In fact, more than half of all people with cancer will receive radiation therapy as part of their treatment.
- As the only treatment for cancer. This is called the primary treatment.
- Before surgery, to shrink a cancer. This is called neoadjuvant therapy.
- After surgery, to stop the growth of any remaining cancer cells. This is called adjuvant therapy.
- With other treatments, such as chemotherapy, to destroy cancer cells.
- To relieve symptoms caused by advanced cancer.

How you prepare
Radiation simulation. During simulation, your radiation therapy team will help you find a comfortable position. You must lie still during treatment, so being comfortable is important. To practice, you’ll lie down on the same type of table that will be used during your treatment. Cushions and props will help hold you in the right way so you can be still. You might be fitted for a body mold or mesh face mask to help keep you in place.
